Dr. (H.C.) Prita Kemal Gani MBA., MCIPR., APR., FIPR is a prominent Indonesian figure in the fields of public relations and education.
She is the founder and CEO of the London School of Public Relations (LSPR) Institute of Communication & Business in Jakarta, which is one of Indonesia’s leading institutions for communications and public relations education. As President of the ASEAN Public Relations Network and Past Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Council for Global Alliance (2019-2021), her influence extends across the region and beyond.
In recognition of her significant contributions to public relations and communication education across ASEAN, Coventry University awarded her an Honorary Doctor of Arts in 2021.
In addition to her role at LSPR, Prita is an accomplished public relations practitioner and educator. She has earned numerous awards for her contributions to the profession, including recognition as one of the top public relations professionals in Indonesia and Asia. She has been involved in shaping public relations standards and practices in the region, including through her role as a board member and leader in various industry associations.
Prita is also known for her advocacy in communication education, empowering young professionals, and contributing to the growth of the creative industries in Indonesia. Her work has made a significant impact in both academia and professional circles.

FAMILY
Prita is one of five children born to Sudaryono (Father) who has Javanese blood and Tity (mother) who has Minangkabau blood. She became an orphan after her father died when she was only 5 years old. Prita’s father, Sudaryono, was a publisher and journalist for Suluh Indonesia.
In December 1992, Prita married a journalist, Kemal Effendi Gani who later became Editor in Chief and General Manager of SWA Magazine. Their marriage is blessed with three children, Ghina Amani Kemal Gani, Fauzan Kanz Kemal Gani, and Raysha Dinar Kemal Gani

ROTARY
Prita Kemal Gani joined the Rotary Club of Jakarta Menteng. Rotary is the first service club since 1905 from Chicago, USA and as Rotary grew, its mission expanded beyond serving the professional and social interest of club members.
